Tasty Hexa What?

Students are nearly done their plans for their Kiva essays. On Monday, they will learn to peer edit and will begin their good copies.

Next, using a template, some good listening skills, and a whole lot of patience, we built our own hexahexaflexagons!

Some of us struggled to find all six faces of our hexahexaflexagon. See if they remember why it's called a hexahexaflexagon. I also challenged them to make a hexazentangledhexahexaflexagon! Say that hexa times fast!

We also danced the chicken dance like it's never been danced before.
