Today we handed over some bracelets to some teachers! We handed them to the teachers because we wanted the kids and all the teachers to know about the bracelet. We wanted to show how happy we are supposed to be!

Things that rock!
For rock of ages we are singing new songs. Each class came up with one song to share. Natalie's class shared a song called Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell. One of the lines says don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you got till it's gone. We think that means don't what you have for granted. Shauna's class shared a song Little Boxes. The main message is that you should just be your self and do what you want to do. Our class choose the song Ordinary Day. The message is if you lose still be happy because you did your best and that's ok. Owen and Andrew's class choose a song sang by Chris Hatfield and Ed Robertson called Is Somebody Singing. The song is all about we're ever you are you're still the same person. The last song is chosen by Ray's class called Stompa by Serena Rider.

Things That are the Best
Check out this video:
Happiness is Always an Option from FireRock Productions on Vimeo.
This video made me think of our bracelet project. What do you think the two things have in common? In your notebooks, write a paragraph in response. Just as in our "Paragraphs of the Week", please make sure you have an introduction, a body that includes at least two different points written out in four sentences, and a concluding sentence.

Today for math, please visit this site and try this game. After you've played a bit, come back here and comment on what this game has to do with math.

Some of you were asking me to post that warm up we did the other day. Here it is:
50 jumping jacks, 5 push ups, 20 crunches, 20 mountain climbers, 30 seconds of plank, 7 burpees. Repeat 2 times.

Things That Visit
We had many visitors in today to see our work. It was fun to work around you.
Kit, Shauna's student teacher even paid us a visit to serenade us.
We started our Wayne Thiebaud inspired artwork.
