Thank you to Tanner and Adam, our two Entrepeneurial Adventure colleagues. They helped us focus our project and even gave us a loan.
We filled in loan documents for a $100 loan. We learned that it comes with a 3% interest which means we will have to pay them $103 back. We will also have a consequence of cleaning both of their cars if we default on the loan.
Here is how we came up with how much we wanted to borrow from them.

Things That Are Called The Bracelet
What are you happy about in your life?! Do you like celebrating your successes? Do you sometimes need reminders about the positive things in your life?
For our entrepeneurial adventure we are making bracelets. The bracelets will represent something that students have to celebrate in their lives. On the day we sell our bracelets, we are going to have a big party. We are going to ask everybody what they are happy about and we are going to write up everybody's answer on big bright posters. That way everybody will see what our school has to celebrate.
The money we make will be going to CHEO and Do it for Daron. The colors will be yellow and purple for our charity choices. In three days we made 106 bracelets! Do it for Daron is a charity that helps prevent bullying. We are also giving money to CHEO which helps sick kids. Some of us have been to CHEO and we think it's a great place that deserves help.

Things That Raise Us
Hello Families of 207! How are you? Are you checking in with us? If so, let us know. We'd love to hear from you. Maybe you can comment on our post about our possible song choices. We're having a hard time picking one. What do you think about our "Bracelet" entrepeneur project? Would you like to know more about it? Thanks for checking in with us and supporting our endeavours.
Things That Weave Together
Wow! Great work on those bracelets today! You were quick to pick up on the technique. I especially appreciated how willing you were to help each other out and give each other positive feedback. That's what being an effective team looks like and sounds like.
That math problem was fun to solve. Kelly was surprised to hear that the Internation Space Station is only 320km above the earth's surface. Were you?
I hope you remember to look at the source of the information you are looking at from the Internet. It is important to question where the information is coming from and when it was published.
So, how many sets of our stairs would it take to climb up to Chris Hadfield and the ISS? Why is the r"un" not important for our problem but the r"ise" is?

Things That Happen in First Block
Ok. You have several tasks this morning. Please do them in order.
First, please visit the Rock of Ages site. Read what you have not yet read. Please make some accountable comments. Perhaps you can express how you feel about that song choice. Maybe you can comment on a lyric that stands out to you. Do you know other songs by this artist? Please make your comment accountable and remember to sign your name.
Next, please visit our blog. Read what you have not yet read. Please make some accountable comments. I especially want to hear from you about our possible song choices. If you are listening to the songs, please make sure to use the headphones. Please remember to sign your name on your comment and to write with proper capitalization and punctuation.
When you have completed those two tasks, you may visit the following two games. Please do not stray from these two games.

Things That Rock
Ok. It is time for us to get serious about our song choice for Rock of Ages. Here are the songs we discussed today. Please take a look and comment on which ones you like and why. If you have more suggestions, add them as well. As always, please check with your parents before following these links. I can't always guarantee about the other content on the site that goes along with the video that I mean for you to see.
Rush: Closer to Heart: Voted Seventies Canadian Rock Anthem!
Feist: 1, 2, 3, 4: A beautiful pop songstress.
Searchlight Competition: CBC competition for new Canadian artists. I have not perused all of these choices yet.
Great Big Sea: Ordinary Day or When I'm Up. Suggested by Maya V. Some great up beat songs.
The Group of Seven: Owen's buddy. Lots of songs about Canada.
Tegan and Sara: See if you can find any appropriate songs by these punky sisters.
Elliott Brood: Andrew's suggestion. Makes you miss your cottage.
David Francey: Kieran's suggestion of some nice folk music.
Arcade Fire: So many great songs. Do you think any of them would be good for us to sing?
Sloan: Check out this song. All about rocking out.
We got a lot done in a very little bit of time for our Bracelet Project. Thank you to Mathias for finding all of our materials in one phone call! Ian has written to Adam and Tanner about a loan and we will wait for them to get back to us. I will teach anyone who wants to be the first wave of people to learn how to make the bracelets tomorrow at first recess. I will also try and go out tonight to pick up the rest of the embroidery floss that we need.
